The Lighthouse Community is a gentle, grounded space for grieving mothers navigating life after the loss of a child to suicide. Inside, you'll find more than just a forum — it's a sacred container for connection, healing, and soul-deep support.

This space is specifically created for mothers who have lost a child to suicide. Whether your loss is fresh or decades old, if you're seeking support from others who truly understand — this is for you.

We honor all mothering relationships: biological, adoptive, step, chosen, or otherwise. If you mothered them and lost them to suicide, you belong here.

We offer two support gatherings each month — one during the day and one in the evening — so you can find what works for you. Live events (like grief talks, seasonal rituals, or guest visits) are announced monthly inside the community and via email.

All events are optional — come as you are, when you're ready. (& subject to change - follow calendar for updates!)

The Lighthouse Griever's Library includes:

• Reflective journal prompts

New resources are added monthly — and you’ll always have access to participate however you wish from whatever place you're currently in on your personal journey.

Yes — the Lighthouse Community is a private, members-only space, and only enrolled members have access to the content and conversations. It is not connected to any public platform (like Facebook), and your posts and comments are visible only to others inside the community.

Melissa, the founder of The Leftover Pieces and a certified grief coach, is actively involved in the space — welcoming new members, moderating discussions, and holding space with care. This is a sacred container built on trust, compassion, and shared understanding.

This community is not therapy, and Melissa is not a licensed mental health professional. The Lighthouse is a peer-based support and coaching space for grieving mothers. It’s a powerful place to feel seen, supported, and held — but it is not a substitute for clinical or medical care.
